About Me

I am a current Ph.D. student in the department of art history and German studies at the University of Melbourne (UoM, 2020 - 2026). The project I am undertaking examines the work of three almost unknown German women artists in the 1920s, furthering the feminist project of excavating forgotten women artists, which builds upon my previous academic studies in the arts. I completed a MA in art curatorship (UoM, 2016- 2018) and a BA in art history with Honours First Class (UNSW, 2012).

I have been fortunate enough to work on several innovative projects, including assisting with the research for a pilot of the first geo-visualisation map capable of predicting and measuring msueum soft-power influence, which has since won several awards. In addition, I introduced Pecha Kucha events as a face-paced multi-speaker prseentation platform to Yarra Libraries and developed a conversation series called the "Cultural Forum" which has become a staple of our annual programs.

Most recently, I was awarded the 2020 Melbourne City Annual Arts Grant to develop an independent art show at the historic Meat Market Stables, where four installation artists built an immersive world.

Overall, I strive to develop innovative formats that have a strong participation aspect and challenge how we see each other and the world around us.
